BEcome part of the solution

Here at Resource Collective, we believe everyone has the ability to be a part of the village and help. We believe not all can foster, but all have the ability to come alongside the families who can. Fill out the form below to help us figure out which avenue would best fit you to serve in. A member of our team will reach out to you with next steps after filling out the form!

Ways for community members to get involved in supporting families and children

Picture
Volunteer to serve with our New Placement Support Program. You can do this either by joining the On-Call Meal Team (this team provides a homecooked meal to a family within the first few days receving a new placement) OR by volunteering to deliver supplies, meals, and resources to families through this program.

Volunteer to serve on a Family Support Team for a foster/kinship family. These teams consist of 4 community members who come alongside that family to provide a meal once a month. This way the foster family has one night a week they don't have to worry about cooking or meal planning! This makes a drastic impact on the families we serve and their ability to keep going on the hard days.

School Supplies

We host an annual Back-to-School Event for all the families that we serve and provide free school supplies for each registered child. Each child gets to shop their own supplies, and the goal of this event is to help children and families feel seen, celebrated, and supported.

Ways for Churches to get involved in supporting families and children

  • Invite church members to become part of the Family Support Team or New Placement Support programs.
  • Become a monthly financial donor to help us carry out our mission to serve the foster community.
  • Host a drive to collect gift cards, school supplies, or other items needed for children and families.
  • Partner with us to host a Parents Night Out event.
